Trustees Biographies


Dr Andrew Bailey, MBBS, FRCGP, DRCOG (CHAIR)

After qualifying at University College Hospital, London, Dr Bailey was commissioned into the Royal army Medical Corps and saw active service in Malaya. He subsequently worked in Indonesia and then returned to General Practice in UK. He was a Partner in Practice on the South Coast and in London for over thirty years.

Dr Bailey’s particular interests are in psychological problems and medical education. He was a Trainer in General Practice, Course Organiser and Associate Dean of London University. He was also Clinical Tutor at Westminster Hospital and later Non-executive Director of Ealing, Hammersmith and Hounslow Health Authority.

 

Phillip Radley-Smith

Philip Radley-Smith, is an entrepreneur who has successfully created a number of international companies including those in payments, software development and Internet Television. With over 12 years’ experience in Internet technology, Philip is a regular speaker at conferences and events.

As Managing Director of various IT companies servicing the needs of multinational broadcasters and content providers, Philip utilises various worldwide Patents that he holds in computing and visual displays.

As a keen social entrepreneur, Philip is enthusiastic about providing opportunity and choice and this is reflected in his role as a Trustee of the Tasha Foundation and as a Martial Arts instructor.  

 

Fran Spencer BA, FCIPD, MIOD

Fran is an experienced Human Resources professional. She has worked successfully at senior management and Board level in both the public and private sectors. Experienced in organisation design and development, international HRD, she also undertakes Board Effectiveness Reviews.

Fran has worked in food Retail Sector, at Shell UK and British Airways, during which time she was seconded for two years to the Department of Health as Head of Organisational Development. Since she started her own Consultancy practice she has worked with a variety of Clients in the public and private sector. 

Fran is the Trustee of the Tasha Foundation and spends time caring for her mother who has Parkinson’s disease and macular degeneration.
