Community Development Work in Hounslow
Service Aims
This service is designed to be responsive to Refugees, Asylum Seekers and Black and Minority Ethnic individuals living in the London Borough of Hounslow who require support with their mental health needs.
We help this population to access and use local resources, including leisure, training and employment oppotunities.
The Community Development Worker also aims to promote TASHA Foundation and the work that we do to ensure that more people in the community are aware of the services available to them.
We can liaise with key workers, other healthcare professionals, OT's, social workers and CPN's on matters relating to service use.
We are similarly able to offer advocacy at care plan meetings.
