Self-Help

Central to the ethos of all TASHA Foundation projects is the idea of Self-Help.

We run a number of Self-Help and Structured Groups across each of the Boroughs we work in, empowering individuals to continue on their recovery path. We have several carers/user led self-help and women only groups. This provides time to develop coping strategies, self-confidence, the ability to self support and be with others with similar experiences.

To this effect, the Mobile Outreach Service visits locations on a daily basis, offering information, advice and guidance as well as on-the-spot support and crisis intervention.

We also provide acupuncture as an alternative therapy, available to all clients who have completed their 1:1 counselling work.

Self-Help booklets are available, aimed at assisting individuals to manage and deal with stress, overcoming depression, agoraphobia, anxiety, panic attacks, drugs and tranquilliser withdrawal.  Please contact Sarah Finn on 0208 560 4583 or sarah.finn@tasha-foundation.org.uk
